New piercing

I just got a new piercing today. First one since I got my first 2 when I was like a day old. What do you think? I personally wish it was a little more inward towards the ear. The guy didn’t show me before he put the needle through. Anyway, I’ve been cleaning it with antiseptic solution. Can I also put antibacterial ointment like bacitracin on it to heal quicker? It bled a lot and even stained the shirt I was wearing.
