Overnight Help After Baby is Born

Did you have a parent, sibling, friend etc stay with you overnight once you got home from the hospital to help with the new baby? I’m trying to decide if I want my mom or MIL staying with us but a part of me just wants me and hubby to have the first night or two just us with baby. We will be first time parents and I know it will be tough especially being that we’ve never done this before but I feel like it will be special and important for us to do it on our own. We can’t get that first time back. But I don’t know if I’m just being naive? What do you ladies think?
