What is going on?!?!?!

I got my period a week early and it ended on Monday night. My cycles have been getting closer and closer together ever since I went off birth control a year ago. I had light spotting yesterday that was really dark so I knew it was just whatever blood was left from my period. Today I have had no spotting, no blood, just normal post period discharge. My fiancee and I had sex this evening and when I went to pee after, drops of bright red new blood came out. It's just the weirdest thing, my periods are hardly the same every month, but this is so out of the ordinary for me. Any ideas? I'm not scared but I am annoyed and I want to be sure this is normal or if I need to get checked out. Thanks for any advice!

EDIT: Some background, my fiancee is sterile (due to cancer treatments from 6 years ago) so I know it's not pregnancy, and I also have HPV-16 and HPV-18. I've had a small mass on my cervix that was present at diagnosis but disappeared 6 months later. That was maybe 4 years ago. I've had abnormal paps every year and screened but come back okay. Just still have the HPV cells. Maybe the bleeding is related??
