SneakPeak Accuracy?

Just got my results that it’s a BOY. I am super happy, but I just could have sworn it was a girl so maybe I am in just a little disbelief but do you think I should trust the SneakPeak results. I took the test in my backyard so that I wouldn’t have “male contamination” but then I realized after I took the test I was wearing my husbands unwashed sweater like a dummy. So what do you think? Probably accurate? Or nah?

It’s only as accurate if you eliminate every possible contamination. I got a girl result and had 2 males in the house. It was correct. They claim a 99.6% accuracy rate assuming you properly sterilized your home before collecting. I would wait for an ultrasound to confirm.

Personally I never saw the point..I've seen so many inaccuracies. And the people who do it are never left with a peace of mind. I always saw them say "ok it's saying it's a boy! But I wont believe it until my 20 week scan!" At like...10 weeks 🤔. To me that's, I don't know. I'd rather just wait for the doctor's blood test, or the anatomy scan when you really see what you are having. Of course it's been right for some as well..but I bet those people questioned it also..until it was 100% confirmed lol.

I heard it’s usually very accurate with boys because of the Y chromosome boys have and can be inaccurate with girls

If you didn’t contaminate it with a males dna in your household then otherwise it is accurate. You don’t have male dna, so if your carrying a boy then you have it inside of you.

I did it, got a boy result and it was accurate but I did the test in a sanitized area, naked.
