Am I dying?

I’ve been on my period for 21 days now and it’s not even off and on. I’m on the depo shot but I’m not due for another yet so can anybody tell me what might be happening?

When i did the depo shot in 2010 after my 1st son i didnt see my period for 3 months them when it was time to reup on the shot it came and stayed for 2months

You aren't dying, this is normal for the depo shot. I bled for months after the 1st one and no one warned me that it could happen. I waited until it was time for the next one and switched over to a different type of birth control

I spotted/bled for 3 months straight after my first depo shot (worst summer ever)...after that I didn’t see my period for yrs.
