3 week old struggling to poop, play dough consistency... Help! Is this normal?

He has slept AMAZING since day one... Sleeps through the night and through his feedings (groggy sleepy boy when I get him up to eat). Well the past 3 days he has been really fussy at night and when I am trying to sooth him to sleep I can hear stomach bubbles... he's not having as many bowel movements the past 3 days... in fact he finally had his first one in 30 hrs, and it was on the smaller side and it was play dough consistency instead of loose. Is this normal for newborns? Should I be concerned and call the pedi? Yhanks ladies!
