He likes me back?!?!?

Soooooo theres this guy in my grade whose also a freshman that I have a crush on. We started talking and got reallyyyy close, buttttt he kept making jokes about us “just being friends.”

Today he told me he liked me out of nowhere and I said I liked him back..... He told me he made the friend zone jokes because he was nervous.... But I’m oddly regretting saying I like him now and I’m realizing maybe I don’t like him that much.....

What should I do?
