OBGYN Follow Up

** OBGYN follow - up update **

My OBGYN said that everything on my ultrasound was normal other than the discomfort during it I was feeling. My uterus position is normal and my ovum volume is normal.

She said I could have endometriosis and that it will be either ruled out or confirmed during pelvic floor therapy, but to not get too worked up because right now there's no need for a lecroscopy or MRI.

She told me that all of my blood test came back normal, which means that my ovaries are not polycystic. Yay! She said that she still can't give a reason behind irregular periods and difficulty getting pregnant because there could be multiple reasons, that pelvic floor/reproductive disorders do not just have a clear reasoning. But that not having polycystic ovaries makes planning for having a family one day easier 😀

She said there still may be some complications with muscle tightness and the size of my pelvis due to being premature, but to not be to discouraged.

She said that during this time self care is extremely important. She gave me some ideas that I could do myself and some ideas of things that Tyler could do to help as well!

Just gotta wait for pelvic floor therapy to start. I requested a female therapist because I don't feel comfortable being touched by another male, plus I don't want Tyler to be uncomfortable. She said that the therapy/healing process is specific to me so she's not sure what they'll do. She did say that it will not get resolved in one session, but that I have full control of what does/Does not happen.
