Ultrasound tech wrong?

I had my 20 week scan on feb 1st and it was clearly a boy. We had our reveal and everything. Went to my appt today and the dr was reading through the radiologist report and said it was a baby girl. She looked back and saw the techs report said boy. Has this ever happened to anyone else? It clearly looked like a boy at the ultrasound.

At my 20wk the tech said girl and the report said boy lol. I had it done on a Friday so I was unsure and most people said it was def a girl. I emailed my doc and ask him and he responded that it was indeed a girl and the wrong gender was clicked when added.

Ultrasounds are 98% accurate at 20 weeks for predicting gender so nothing is guaranteed I’m afraid.

I mean the ultrasounds usually don’t lie at 20 weeks, you’ll clearly see either a penis or vagina. It’s possible it was just written down wrong at some point.

When I was pregnant with my daughter at 20 weeks was told it was a bit whole pregnancy. Had the baby shower and at birth found out it was a girl. They only ever checked once.
