Today I got a Tdap vaccine. I am 29 weeks pregnant. I also had one with my first baby so it’s been over 3 years since my last one. I didn’t think I’d need another one so soon, but my nurse and midwife said that new medical research suggests getting another Tdap vaccine with EACH pregnancy. Even if it’s only been a couple years or so. So I got this thing and now I’m having pretty unpleasant side effects. Nausea, diarrhea, headache, sleepiness, soreness at the injection site. I feel like crap overall. Anyone else have crappy side effects from the Tdap? I didn’t feel this way when I got it during my first pregnancy. Wondering if it has anything to do with getting them so close together. I think the normal recommendation is every 10 years??
