I really can’t stand it, and I need to emphasize how much I hate when I hear someone making jokes about herpes.

The worst is when in person someone makes a joke or says it’s “disgusting”...

At that time I gotta speak up and educate a few people. I never reveal that I myself have HSV1... I just try and get across to people the “norm” of HSV.

Sucks. Insensitive really. 1 in 4 people have herpes... over 80% of the population. Do you realize how many people that really is???

2 out of 8.

That means when you’re in a room with 8 people, and if you have herpes... someone else in that room probably knows how you feel.

And if you don’t, if you’re in a room with 4 people or 8 people... someone in that room is probably dealing with it.

Think about that?
