Hi, everyone! Just writing to see if anyone else has encountered this issue.

I recently had my anatomy scan at 20w, 2d, during which I could tell something was found.

My results came today and report my sweet baby boy has a persistent right umbilical vein, along with a 3mm hemangioma on his liver.

When I questioned my doctor office about these issues, they really couldn’t tell me very much because they have never encountered either of these. Apparently both issues are pretty rare, but the radiologist isn’t concerned since all other measurements came back normal.

Are there any other moms out there who have had either of these issues? How did it affect your pregnancy, delivery, and life after delivery?
