Hello! hope someone reads as I'm desperate for advice with no one to turn to .. To cut a V long story short with the most recent details .. Here goes!

My ex is currently on remand in prison for an ABH charge against me (he broke my toes with his teeth back in December) I never went to police at the time, just went to hospital to get antibiotics for the puncture wound & check if it was broke, specifically asked for no police involved and it was respected at the time. After that I asked for my mums help to get his things gone & support me getting him to leave without usual arguments. I was very ill and throwing up, i thought i might be having another kidney infection as the symptoms were similar. Anyway, my mum took me to the Drs & I ended up finding out I was pregnant, I told him & still asked him to leave. Fast forward to a few weeks ago, he turned up at my flat on drugs accusing me of all sorts & I eventually called police to ask him to leave after 2days of trying myself .. So they arrive & arrest him for ABH ( aboutthe incident back in December without my consent) he's now in prison, BT this is where it gets complicated .. He's facing deportation on the 6th .. If he gets deported he won't have seen any of his family or current son n I didn't ask for him to be put away so he's asking me to withdraw my statement & write a letter to the judge to request a non custodial sentence for this crime. However I've been told after investigating my options it will make no difference. With or without it they're still charging him so I don't know what to do ..
