Can moms who have a surrogate breast feed?

I’m curious if moms who have a surrogate are able to breast feed from their own breast. If so that’s sooo cool. How does that work ?

It’s definitely possible. There are medications that can cause hormone shifts to trigger lactation and pumping can stimulate milk production.

Yes!  My husband’s coworkers adopted a baby and the mom was able to get meds that started lactation and she was able to breastfeed.

Yes, it’s definitely possible. Most women have to see an OB for medication, and they have to continue pumping if baby isn’t born yet, or isn’t latching.
