Clomid/Metaformin

I'm hoping someone has had some experience with this. This will be my first time taking Clomid and I'm trying to make sure I do everything right. I haven't gotten my period since October so I wasn't expecting to get it this month. My doctor said cycle day 1 is any blood at all and I spotted Thursday so I figure that's day 1. But then randomly yesterday I started bleeding like a real period. Now I'm paranoid that I'm gonna take my clomid on the wrong days. Help 😫
