Need advice ladies

We are both mid twenties and when we first started dating it seemed like our whole relationship was just sexual.. then all of a sudden it took a plummet. Ive talked to him multiple times about it and nothing really seems to come of it. Ive recently heard from a friend that he thinks our sex life is great but i dont think it is.

The reason why is bc i dont think we do it enough and he never initiates anymore. Im always the one to have to do so. But even then its been so long in which he doesnt seem interested anymore and im scared to even ask him or try to get him to do anything bc he is going to say he doesnt want to.. so idk what to do or say to him anymore. Also he does always say i look so beautiful and always wants to touch me but he never actually does anything more but just touch and mess with me..
