Anyone else has mild ptsd from their C-section experience.?

Almost 8w pp with my first baby and I keep having terrible dreams of having another C-section or having another kid and that just gives me anxiety. For me getting the spinal was so painful, I hated it so much and I guess it went in wrong they had to do it twice to get it in right. Like getting the spinal is the reason I wouldn't have another child I'm so scared of feeling this terrible pain. Am I being a baby or did y'all think it was painful experience because I never hear anyone talking about this🤐💀

Yes! 100% mortified. They got the epidural in the wrong spot which I would still have shooting pain even after a year that sometimes left me scared to drive and stopped me from moving. I spent 36 hours in labor breaking though everything they could give me and my body going into a shock pretty much to only end up having to do a emergency C-section after the head doctor came in and freaked out to the point of say OMFG WTF in full. Lol. Then when they did the C-section because of everything I literally felt it all. Not the tug and pull some say but full blow EVERYTHING. Screaming and all. My mom asked why a the doctor told her there was something extremely rare where some people can and meds do not fully work. Since I've always be very sensitive she over all did not question it🤷 I think it's just because they let it go on so long honestly. 
Now given in this I do not think most hospitals would let it go on and my OBGYN has assured me it will not be the same. So don't expect that for yourself if you are getting one.

Yes, but not for the same reasons. My c-section was unplanned, I got it because of failure to progress during an induction. So already I felt (and still feel) sad because I did not get to experience the birth that I longed for and was so excited for. On top of that, I thought I was going to die during the c section - it was so cold, I was so exposed, I was shaking so hard and literally being pinned down... I just closed my eyes and cried through it. 
When they took me to recovery and let me sit up, the ENTIRE right side of my body went numb for hours. Like I couldn't even open my right eye. Then of course I freaked out thinking I had a stroke or something, I couldn't hold my baby, couldn't start breastfeeding. The next morning my baby got taken to the NICU because he had some extra fluid in his lungs and breathing super fast, drs told me it likely was due to having a c section - he didn't get the added pressure of being squeezed through the birth canal to get that fluid out. I of course wanted to be there for my baby which meant being taken off any really effective pain meds and being given motrin which did nothing. So i'm in excruciating pain, constantly walking back and forth to the NICU. Sad that me and my baby are having this experience because of a c section. He was in the NICU for a week. 
When we finally got home from the NICU that next week I felt horrible but I just assumed it was within the normal for c section recovery. My husband insisted we check my temp, I had a fever of 104. Back to the hospital we go... I had a uterine infection. Antibiotics for weeks which gave my baby horrible diarrhea and a diaper rash which was fortunately short lived. 
Now here I am 4 weeks pp. Baby and i are fine, my incision is a bitch. It's like i can feel every single layer that was cut open heal individually. I consistently have dreams about my c section, sometimes it's the exact memory and other times there's slight variations. I've always wanted at least 3 kids but my experience has made me feel like just one is enough. At least that's how I feel right now, but that could always change with time of course. At the end of the day I'm just glad my son is here and healthy.

You’re not being a baby at all! It took me five years to have another baby because of how traumatic my csection was. I hemorrhaged and lost a lot of blood and the healing was just awful. I’m now pregnant with my second and I have nightmares about having another csection like all the time. I won’t be able to have a vbac because I’m high risk and I’m terrified. I’ve heard from a lot of women that the second one is easier tho so I’m hoping that’s true 😭

I don't really like the spinel because I don't like needles of any kind I've had 3 c-sections so far and the only thing I notice is that I do this day don't like the sound of a staple gun I first c-section was 11 years ago it was a so called emergency when the dr broke my water there was Meconium in it and the dr scared me to the point that I asked for one I have found out now many years later that I didn't have to have a c-section for that I had only been 20 for a month I was petrified for my child I was crying the whole time and then not long after my baby was born I heard a staple gun going off I look at my baby daddy and said what's that he said they are stapling you it been 11 years and I can't be in the same room as a stapler of any kind I'm 21weeks and 6days pregnant with my 4th child she will also be a c-section and my fear is that the dr will use staples im using a different dr because my last dr retired my last dr delivered my last 2 children and he was amazing nothing like my first dr I'm hoping and praying that my new dr is just as amazing

They tried the spinal on me 3x and epidural 2x. I finally had to go under general after 30 min of trying. Yep. Terrified of another C.

Yes. My daughter was born at only 26 weeks 5 days via emergency c-section.  Complications onset very quickly.  She was pushing her cord through the cervix.  I had general anesthesia due to other medical issues and could not have an epidural.  I could not see my baby for 12 hours after she was born.  
The trauma stems mostly from hearing the doctor say something (don’t remember what) and having about 20 people show up in the room in seconds.  Next thing I know I was in the OR signing consent forms on the table before they put me out.  I didn’t really have a chance to comprehend anything until weening off the morphine 12 hours later.
My baby girl is doing amazing though.  She’s totally the boss of the NICU and is four weeks old today.  I’m healing well though it still hurts to drive over bumps in the road.

I’m 6 weeks PP from first baby csection and ive had one dream of ripping open but I don’t usually get sleep long enough to dream

Nope! I absolutely loved my first csection and can not wait for my second! It was easy for me and I healed very quickly and very well! My csection was uneventful.
Reason for it was because my sons head was stuck wall to wall in my pelvis waters were ruptured and I wasn’t dilating even with induction meds. Turns out baby had cord wrapped around him and was at risk for distress. They had to use forceps to get him out of my pelvis. My hospital rarely uses forceps fo any type of delivery.

Not from the spinal, but just from anxiety of it all going well. Terrified more this time about blood loss, or dying on the table 😖 with my last c section it was nerve racking because they couldn’t get me warm for hours after in recovery and I thought something was really wrong and didn’t want to die 😖 I try not to think about it too much. Everything has turned out fine in the two c sections I’ve had so 🤷🏼‍♀️😖
