Clomid for men?

My husband went to finally see the urologist about his low sperm count yesterday and he prescribed clomid because of his low testosterone. My hubby also started taking fertilaid and the count boost a month ago. Has anyone had success with clomid for men? How long did it take?

Meeeee!!! Husband had 0 sperm due to being on testosterone supplements from a brain injury. switched him over to clomid and got pregnant in 4 months. Had a chemical and then got pregnant the week I stopped bleeding. I’m 28 weeks now! Sperm takes 3 months to get to mature so keep that in mind 😀

Us! After 4.5 months of clomid DH count went from 2 to 29. Just started trying again this month after getting the new results

My husband was diagnosed with late maturation arrest and is azoospermic...his hormones and blood work all came back normal when he was diagnosed so we did an IVF cycle timed with an mTESE back in October. They found sperm but it was completely immobile so our urologist put my husband on Clomid for 3 months before we try another cycle. We start our IVF cycle March 4th so we’ll see soon whether the clomid helped my husband, I’ll keep you updated!! His original testosterone was 506 back in October and was up to 690 in mid January so I think the clomid is helping increase his testosterone which should help with a perm production!

Yup!!! 55million on SA after a year on Clomid. Now we just have to work on morphology

Mine had improved numbers thanks to the supplements and clomid! However it was not enough to get us pregnant naturally or do IUI. But it certainly helped and gave us better sperm for IVF.

Yes, but my husbands testosterone was normal. He is taking 25 mg, twice a week before we do ivf in a few months
