What if IVF isn’t a good option?

The wife and I are debating between moving to IVF or continuing with more IUIs. We are trying to work with insurance on getting our IVF viewed In-Network cause if not it’s a decent amount more plus all meds will be out of pocket at this point. We are so torn to spend close to $12,000+ and if it’s feasible. 
Has anyone else been in this boat? Thoughts? Did you continue with IUI to try?

We did 5 iuis and are now moving on to IVF. We are 100% self pay. I wish we had moved on to IVF after three iuis, but we were hopeful that it would work. We both maxed out our fsas to help cover costs and we are traveling out of state to a more affordable clinic.

IVF is expensive, but it works!  Even if the first transfer doesn't work the chances of the second working are pretty good.  It was worth every penny.  Plus, after my IVF birth I am now pregnant naturally.

I would do ivf honestly. I think iui is pure luck after my experience with 3 failed ones. I now have 7 frozen 5 day blastocysts and hoping to get pregnant with one of them in April or May. I would totally recommend ivf over iui now having been through both

Move to ivf. The chances are sooo much higher. Iuis start to add up over time.

Iui #7? How much has that cost you ?
Were I am ivf is the same cost of 2 iui. I’m self pay so will move on to ivf it number #1 & 2 doesn’t work
