so one of my boyfriends best friends just found out i’m pregnant. i’m 16 and 21 weeks pregnant. he messaged my boyfriend saying “what the fuck dude? why do you have a baby?” and i understood that he was confused.

but then my boyfriend told me he started saying things like “it’s fucked up that she’s keeping it”

for some reason that made me feel really bad about myself. my boyfriend told him that he’s not sad i’m keeping it and that it’s my body and he’s excited.

it still bothered me. this is my baby just as much as it is his. if my boyfriend didn’t want my baby, i don’t need him. i would raise my baby all by myself. but i can’t stop him from wanting to be apart of his little girls life.

i don’t know why it upset me so much. i just want to be okay with his friends and not have awkward tension because he thinks i’m “trapping” my boyfriend.
