Ovulation tests

I stopped birth control dec 17th. Had a withdrawal bleed dec 21-23rd. And now I’m on cycle day 61...still waiting for my period to show up. Is it worth doing ovulation tests to see if I am going to ovulate? Or should I wait until I actually get my cycle back?! I have an appt March 12th with my gynecologist for a pap and am planning on talking to her then. But I tried doing bbt for a couple of weeks and my temps are all over the place. I’m kind of at a loss and really want to start ttc
