He’s here. Complicated labor.

Wow my labor was nothing what I expected!

My water broke at 5 am 2/19

And was laboring for 12 hour unmedicated for 12 hours stuck at 3 cm

Finally got epidural at 6 pm Ish and was able to rest and sleep a little.

Epidural wore off half on one side

Slowly dilated to 4

Baby’s heartbeat was elevated because I was running a fever since 9 ;30 pm

They gave me Tylenol, fluids, oxygen. But fever wouldn’t go down.

They turn pitocin up to get me to dilated but I wasn’t. Was starting to get worried

They fixed the epidural and was able to sleep again till 3 am 2/20

Finally they decided to get me a c section.

They were trying to avoid it.

But my water had been broken for almost 24 hours.

Baby had bowel movement and I had an infection in placenta. He swallowed some of that yucky stuff and was having trouble breathing.

He was transferred to a specific hospital an hour away for their NICU.

I’m waiting to get transferred over there.

I’m sad I haven’t even got to hold him or touch him .

Praying he makes a fast recovery.

But my baby boy is here!
