Shitty doctors

So due to my husband joining the navy we had to move from California to South Carolina. When I was back home in Cali I had such an amazing experience with my doctor and my first born. If I said anything was off I immediately got a cervix check starting from 16 weeks. Atm I’m 36 weeks, 37 tomorrow and I haven’t had ONE check.. in so stressed not knowing if I’m dilated any, especially since I’ve had daily Braxton Hicks and I’ve had episodes of contractions which would last for hours. I tell them about this and they just say it’s normal and never check me. With my first born I didn’t have Braxton Hicks till a week before a gave birth and contractions till the day before I did. I asked around and I’m told that over here they are hands off so it sounds like I’ll find this at any doctor I go to... part of me wants to go to the hospital and asked to be checked just go help calm my nerves. I just want to know wether or not these contractions are doing or have done anything! Cuz then if I do start labor again ik wether or not I need to rush to the hospital or take my time, starting at 0 means I can take my time but starting at 4 we need to be rushing. With my daughter I went from 4 to 10 in less than 6 hours, and was only pushing for 12 minutes. By knowing what’s going on I can better prepare myself.
