Now what ???

I’m supposed to get induced today but the hospital keep saying we’ll call us at 10am then 3pm and now @ 6:30 pm for any update on a room ???? Isn’t that weird ? So that means I’m not having my baby at 39 weeks ???

If they are at full capacity they will make you wait unless you are an emergncy induction. Yes, that may mean you are not having your baby tonight. It may be tomorrow.

If labour and delivery is too busy an elective induction (especially one at just 39 weeks) will get pushed until there's enough beds and enough staff. Unless there's a medical reason to induce at 39 weeks it's perfectly safe for baby to wait another 3 weeks so no, it's not weird they haven't called you in yet. Women in active labour, emergencies, post term inductions and inductions for medical reasons all take priority. Unfortunately you may not be having your baby today and it might even be another day or two or MAYBE even more before they have room for you.
