Reaction to shots

Has anyone else LO had a reaction to shots where they just cry and cry like something is hurting them? Our LO did that tonight and I called the nurse and she said it probably is a reaction and to give her tylenol because she may just be sore and achy. She is finally sleeping in her crib but omg I feel.like such a horrible mom. She has been battling with a cold and the Dr said it was fine to give her the shots since she was just congested and I said to go ahead and do them because we were there so long yesterday and frankly I didnt wanna have to take her back. Trying to entertain a 1 yr old in the Dr office is a lot of work! Lol...but now I feel like it's my fault that shes reacting this way and that I should have waited and taken her back when she wasn't sick 😢
