Bubble baths??

Question

Any high risk mommy’s here that still take hot bubble baths?? I want to lay in my tub so bad but it makes me so nervous to think i can thin out my cervix or something. 😭 
I have a incompetent cervix. fyi 😩

Just monitor the temp and your internal temp. If your temp rises to 102 or above, it’s wayyyy too hot. Regular bath tubs normally don’t get hot enough to cause issues, it’s the hot tubs and saunas that cause most problems that make people skeptical. But this is what I’ve heard from other mothers and my Midwife also agrees so I would consult my Doctor/Midwife before anything. ☺️

I’m obsessed with baths... my doc told me that you can stay in as long as you want as long as it doesn’t raise your body temp too much.  Over 100 isn’t okay, so I literally have a thermometer next to me and I take my temp before the bath and I’ll check during too.  I’ve never gotten near the 100, so I’m good.  She also said that if it is hot enough that you’ve got sweat rolling on your chest or parts of your body turn red, that is too hot.

I'm high risk also my OBGYN said I could but not hot water maybe a little warmer then a usual bath but not to fill the tub up either I have back problems so I usually soak twice a week and the rest are showers...

I mainly take baths and have with my first and now 2nd pregnancy. It's safe just dont do it too hot. If you're feeling hot in the bath then it's too hot for baby inside 😉

My sister was high risk she would take a warm bubble bath but put a relatively hot cloth on her face/shoulders. 
Not as good but butter than just lukewarm.
