I’m 40+1 weeks, and had a membrane sweep today. I’m 4cm dilated, and the OB said she could easily get her finger in between the membrane and my cervix (or something like that?).

Since then, I’ve had a lot of pressure down there; more tightenings; period pains are a bit worse, but not any pattern really (it’s like the tightenings don’t stop).

And I felt a pop like thing in my cervix, followed by my mucus plug coming out.

And I’m also getting stabbing pains in my vagina.

Is this normal?
