I've had the Skyla IUD for 2.5 years and I've maybe gotten my period...if you can even call it that...6 times since then. When I get my "period", it's usually light spotting for a couple days, and never actually even looks like blood, more brownish. VERY light, I rarely even need a tampon.

However, like clockwork once a month (end of the month) I get emotional PMS symptoms like crazy. Irritability, mood swings, crying at commercials, bitchy, and craving/wolfing down chocolate like it's my full time job.

I know this isn't really abnormal, just wanted to see if anyone reacts the same way to the IUD with the no/light periods but awful mood swings.

Side Note: Been on anti-anxiety meds for years now so I know the cyclical mood swings are caused by the PMS specifically.
