So I’m 18 & my dad was child support when I was 17. My mom been letting him slide for 17 yrs (at the time) of not doing anything for me not giving me money not contributing to anything what so ever since I was a baby. I went to his house in 2017 , haven’t seen him since but when I was there his mother lied on me trying to get me in trouble to my mom and said I sent my father to the hospital cause he coughed up blood I was like wtf. I didn’t speak to them since. He tried reconnecting with me and every time I’d ask him for something even $50 he would disappear. He has a new family they are from Dominican Republic. So he got them all visas etc she has 3 kids. And he’s married to her and taking care of her kids. My older brother was living with him and he put him in the basement so her kids can have the bedrooms. He lives with us now & is in good shape. He used to do drugs since he was 13 but now he’s 22 and finally going to college and getting back on track since living with my mom. We are from NY , we moved to FL so my mom isn’t working rn but my stepfather is his own boss so we still have money. I’m good don’t get me wrong I don’t need anything from my father but it’s just a embarrassment he left his job to my stepfather. I’m 18 now In college and my stepfather pays it in cash for me. My father doesn’t care, he pays for my books and everything my father doesn’t contribute at all. In 2017 we put him on child support because we was tired of him and felt like since now I’m going to college he should pay all the back payments he owed and there was proof. He even told us put me on child support because I’m not giving u any money. He only paid for like 4 months which was last yr. we haven’t received anything from him in almost a year. He’s been harassing me & my mom lately telling us take him off cause his license is suspended since he didn’t pay his child support. He even called my mothers mom ( my gma) to make her tlk my mom into taking him off. He’s good at manipulating so he even texted me a sob story this morning & I told him I can’t help him. Since he stopped paying they are taking $750 out his check every month & he makes almost 80K a year but rather spends on his wife kids. I never met them or spoke to them I just have his stepdaughter on Snapchat and she watches everything I do. We don’t have a relationship so idrc for him. His own father and siblings don’t tlk to him because he stole money from them. He’s a evil person he always wishes bad on me & my mom he literally hates her. He has always made me beg him even if it was for a penny. I don’t need anything from him but I feel like he deserves to pay. Nobody likes him his only family is his mother & his wife and her kids. His other baby mom( my little sister) put him on child support as well he does nothing for his kids. What would you do? Ignore him and let him deal with the government or feel bad for him? ( I can’t even force myself to feel bad. I honestly don’t care) I always wanted to be a daddies girl but he never cared all he did is lie to me. My father is my stepfather 🤷‍♀️
