My HW was born at 34 weeks. He was a good weight 5lbs 4 oz, he started losing weight and we didn’t understand why. He was an extremely sleepy baby, he suffered from bradycardia and desat spells. I cried and they told me it was due to his prematurity we had no clue what was to come. 3 weeks after being home my LO was admitted to our hospital and was found that he had 3 different heart defects, a month later we discovered he had 2 blood disorders and a inguinal hernias. This last Monday he had a hernia repair and a heart cath performed. His little body had a rough time. He contracted a severe viral infection that lead to him being sedated. He was pulled of sedation this morning and appeared to be doing better but then started having complications again. They started up pain management and if that helps we might be able to go home tomorrow night. This has been so stressful and terrifying.
