My niece is 4 months and she rather has yoplait yogurt instead of her baby food but is it okay to give to her

No. She shouldn’t even be having foods until 6 months, and she definitely shouldn’t be eating yogurt with sugar....

We were advised to not give babies sugary food. I started giving my baby plain full fat yogurt with a bit of fruit mashed in at 6 months

Yes, babies can have yogurt, but a four-month-old shouldn't be eating solids at all. Both the WHO and the AAP both state that solids should be started no sooner than 6 months old. Once your child is 6 months, you are free to give solids, yogurt included. I'd just be sure to watch the sugar content in it. There are tons of yogurts for babies too.

yes as it's made with pasteurized milk it's fine I give and many others give it to their kids and as she of weaning age it's fine... in moderation
