I just joined this group, and read one of the posts asking if you would date someone that believed in god. My husband and I both have very religious families, and have always been the same about dreading going to church with them when we go visit, making jokes about religion here and there. But I realized I never actually asked if he believed in god, I just assumed he didn't. We literally just don't talk about it. So this is our convo just now, laying in bed ready to go to sleep.

Me: "Hey babe, do you believe in god?"

Him: "Mhmm"

Me: "... really? I didn't know that"

Him: "... uhm seriously

Thor is a god."
