Hand on her waist?

Okay ladies this is my boyfriend and a girl he goes to school with. But my issue is his hand being on her waist, not because I’m a insecure women. It’s because he never puts his hand on my waist in any picture we have taken, he’s always placed it on my shoulder....... So how do I address this with him without me coming off as insecure or petty?

Looks like he did it because she is tall. Probably would of been awkward to put it around her shoulders 🤷‍♀️

She’s tall as hell. IMO you’re coming off insecure & that doesn’t make you a bad person or immature you’re entitled to your feelings but you need to be open with him about it. Bury your pride. I would rather my man think I’m insecure than for me to sit & let him do something that’s eating me up.

Ok two things- 
(1) obviously the height (for this particular  example)
(2) the hand around the waist is a gentleman thing to do in a picture. He just feels really comfortable with you which is what I see from this picture. 
Bonus- if you really love him then you would stop this type of thinking because it’s not going to help your relationship.

It's going to come out insecure so you just have to decide if it's worth it or not. Every relationship is different so you just have to do you. I know I wouldn't appreciate seeing a pic of my husband with his hand anywhere on another woman and I would say something wether it sounded petty or not lol!

He has his hand there because the only other places to put that hand is on her hip or her chest. Now I figure he doesn't wanna grab her ass or boob anymore than you want him too.
She's almost a foot taller than you in those heels, that's why you don't get your waist held and she does, because it's less comfortable to have his arm there, whereas with her, it's the ONLY place he can put it without offending anyone.
Plus, he looks incredibly uncomfortable in that picture as well. He's not waiting there for the camera to drop so he can grope her, he's waiting for it to go away so he can stop touching her. He looks far more comfortable in the picture with you than he does with her. So take a deep breath, if you can't let go talk to him (nicely), and give your man a break.

I have to agree with everyone else here.
She is tall and having his hand on her shoulder would be unnatural, look weird and be uncomfortable for all parts. 
If it bothers you that much, have a talk about it. I've several times in my relationship looked at my boyfriend and said something like "I know this is silly, but I need to get it off my chest. I didn't like *insert random situation here* and it made me feel like *insert feelings here*"..
Then he knows, he can tell me I'm silly and kiss me and I've gotten it off my chest. It's a win win! 😊
Feelings are valid, but being reasonable at the same time will get you far.

I think he’s got it there because she’s too tall for him to reach and put it on her shoulder. I find it would look funny if he tried to reach that high. Maybe that’s why he did it?

I get she is Tall ....Not being insecure but just reality of it  but you look like the “friend “ and she looks like his girl.🤷🏽‍♀️ I’m sorry ... it clearly bothers you so communicate that and you can definitely have a conversation without sounding insecure.. being secure in a relationship matters.
