Ovulation?

Question

Hi ladies I haven’t had a period the last couple months so I have no clue if I’m ovulating at all. I wanna take an ovulation text/tests but don’t know what the best ones are. Any recommendations would help, I’m starting to feel like I can’t get pregnant 😔

If your cycles are irregular I would recommend investing in a basal thermometer and start tracking your bbt. Opks will detect if you have an LH surge but they don’t confirm ovulation. Bbt and bloodwork/ultrasounds are the only way to confirm that ovulation occurred. Your best best bet is to track your bbt, use opks, and monitor your cm. It will tell you a LOT about your cycle. Also if you haven’t followed up with a physician regarding your irregular cycles I would start there and have them run some preliminary bloodwork with hormone panels.

And note: with opk’s, never use FMU (unless instructed in the instructions). Choose two times between 10 AM and 8 PM that you can test at every day at the SAME two times; and use a 4 hour pee hold each time (and do not drink a lot of water during the hold times). Once the test line is as dark as, or darker than, the control line - you have a positive. Once you get a positive, ovulation will occur within 12-36 hours; and the egg - once released - will be viable for 12-24 hours.
