Cold/Flu while pregnant

What over the counter medications are safe to take during pregnancy? I have a fever, cough and chills.

Also, is it dangerous to have a fever while pregnant? I'm 19w3d. Should I go to the ER for some prescription medication since my DR isn't open during weekends?
