Been there. Only he was doing it while i was taking care of my dying mother and then as she was dying in hospice. It was the last straw for me. I felt like he was leading a double life and i let him know using drugs is a LIFESTYLE like being a swinger is a lifestyle and I didnt sign up for that shit. And told him its not the kind of life I wanted for me or our kids. And then the starts aligned...because Mom died my sister moved in with my dad to keep him company daily and I took over her house without having to come up with a deposit. I've been here 2 years in June! But I'll say this: it took me 9 YEARS to get the courage to go. When you are ready you'll know without a doubt. And you will be free. But until you feel youve tried your best, getting away seems impossible. Best of luck to you!!
