I have a birthmark

I have a birthmark all around my crotch area and Ive only been having sex in the dark cause I feel so unconfortable and i dont want my partner to see that I have a dark britnark it looks so gross. Is there a way to get rid of this? I hate it that its there I can't even go swiming without feeling uncomfortable or i cant even wear shorts. :(
