Has anyone used a first response before their expected period but later got a BFP?

I tested 4 days before AF at night after dinner because I keep feeling so nauseous and my boobs are sore which never happens to me.

Definitely best to test first thing in the morning.  Your chances of a false negative are a lot higher if you're not testing with first morning urine. That being said, FR is pretty good at detecting pregnancy at least a couple days before your missed period, depending on the length of your luteal phase.

With my first pregnancy I started testing 5 days before my missed period. 
5 days before was negative 
4 days before was negative
3 days before was positive 
The little insert tells you the accuracy based on how close AF is.
