I’ve heard of couples bringing gifts to L&D for the nurses for during and after birth just to thank them for all they do for you while you’re in the hospital. Are you going to or have you gotten gifts for the nurses? If so, what did you get them? Or what do you plan on getting for them? There’s no telling how many shifts you’re going to be there for, so how many gifts did you/will you bring just in case? Is it even necessary to bring gifts for the nurses? I mean I know it’s not mandatory or anything, but are they expecting gifts? Would it be rude if I didn’t bring any gifts for them at all?
