Anyone else have notice this behavior?

My daughter is 4 months old and she recently picked up this thing where she shakes her head right to left, left to right vigorously. While awake here and there or asleep at first I thought it was funny and playful but now I’m really starting to worry anyone?

Mine does it too I read about it and the article said it’s a way of soothing also if they’re teething it’s more common. I hope that helps

All babies do this. It’s them developing their motor skills. If they do it when lying down/sleeping, it’s an act of self-soothing. It can also become more enhanced then teething or if the baby has an ear infection, but that will obviously come with other signs.  Only if the baby is still doing it after the age of two, or not making eye contact with you should you be worried.

I noticed for about a month now my son doing this and I was so worried it was seizures it something but I realized he does it when he pees so I’m guessing he just gets the chills

My daughter does that sometimes when I lay her down so much so that she has a bald spot 
Her doctor said she’s fine. Probably just stimulating herself.

Omg so weird! I literally just came on to this app just to post about the same thing!!! Lollll my son does it as well, I was going to ask his pediatrician about it but completely forgot.
