Okay ladies so to start off I’m 22 years old and 11 weeks pregnant. I have been with my boyfriend for almost two years, have our own place and are financially capable of raising a baby. We are very excited and honestly can not wait to be parents but I still haven’t told my parents🤦🏽‍♀️ they are very traditional and believe in marriage before even living together. I also am not very close with them so telling them even the simplest stuff has always been hard. I was considering just sending them an announcement picture over text and seeing how they respond, does this seem inconsiderate and rude? My boyfriend believes I should tell them in person regardless how they will react but my mother had made it very clear “a baby will ruin my life”. I need opinions or ideas😩 want to tell them today!
