Midwife or obgyn?

So this is my 5th pregnancy. I’m 5w 4d! Hoping so much I don’t miscarry. I have two kids from my first two pregnancies (6&7) and I had doctors for both. I’m thinking of trying out a midwife for this one though. Any tips or pros & cons you guys can tell me to help with my decision?

My dr office gives you both an OB and midwife . But I liked having an OB in case I needed a c section a midwife can’t perform that

My first I had no issues and was under no risks but I chose an OB, to be honest there isn’t much difference between the two if you aren’t high risk. This time I definitely have to go OB because I have a high chance of issues during labor and might need a c-section which a midwife can’t do. To mit was more important to decide where I wanted to give birth and who operated in that area. Took me two weeks to decide on a hospital. This one has a birthing center for natural births run by midwives which is connected to the hospital in case surgery is needed.

Midwives are more about the natural aspect of birth, and usually consider it to be the natural process that we’ve been doing forever (which it is), and OBs are basically just surgeons. They see birth as a medical procedure
