Okay so i really love my boyfriend and we are moving to vegas soon, and we’re very serious. But this past valentines i had to go to new york with my family to do some stuff. I came back friday and I immediately went to my boyfriends. I decided to make this painting of vegas neon signs for him as like a valentines day gift. When i gave it to him he loved the painting. And a few hours later he hands me a box of chocolates and says “these are from mom”. And I realized he didnt get me anything and im not trying to rant about not getting anything but i thought that just some flowers or him cooking me dinner would be nice. On top of that i planned like a friends valentine dinner at his house for our friends and us. And i made stuffed pasta and cute chocolate covered strawberries,

so i was pretty upset on the lack of effort on his part but i dont know if im exaggerating.
