Feeling good!

On December 21st I lost my son at 16 weeks gestation. I was devastated to say the least. I couldn’t eat or sleep and lost 20 pounds that first few days after it happened. Within the next week my 15 month old son stopped nursing and my soul seemed to be crushed just a little bit more. The thing keeping me going a lot of days was the fact at this other little human relied so much on me. He
only nursed to sleep at this point but it still made me feel needed. Instead of letting this pull me down I even further than I was already I decided to make a change. My husband had started the Keto diet in July and lost 100 pounds and now that I wasn’t nursing or pregnant I could start now too (was advised not to start it by my doctor while nursing). I am now down 50 pounds and I feel so much better! Getting off the floor and playing with my now 17 month old son is so much easier and I am starting to notice the loss more and more. I can’t wait to see what the next few months old for my journey!
