I'm getting married! My problem is of course every girl wants their dream wedding. But when I start trying to plan I realize my fiance and both are very private people. I'm that girl that sticks to a schedule, and prefers to spend most of my time with my 8 year old. My closest friend lives out of state, and my family is close by but we havnt found a reason to get together since my grandparents passing. I'm not too close with my parents and my fiances only family is his mom. I'm thinking of getting eloped on an oceanfront beach with just my fiance and my daughter present. Keeping it intimate, avoiding all the hassle of wedding planning and deciding to spend less on a wedding and more on a honey moon. I just worry my family will be very upset with me if I don't invite any of them. How would any of you handle it? Or would you plan a wedding you don't want to make other people happy?
