IUI or IVF??

Question

Hi all! So after years of trying for number #2, my husband and I got tested and while my results were good, we got his SA back and his morphology is at 1%.
Needless to say, it was not the news we were hoping for at all, but my question is, with that low of morphology, is IUI still a viable option or should we go to IVF? Has anyone had a success story with IUI with low morphology?

We had 3 failed IUI-s with even high morphology. We didnt try any more. Straight on to ivf. And i think for you guys IVF has much more chances. But still,its your decision. Good luck thought🤞

Is he a pot smoker? My husband was and his first SA was 2% morphology. 3 months later and after quitting it went up to 14% which is where docs like to see it

My husbands morphology came back really low.  We made some changes.  Less drinking, better diet and we bought the one a day men’s supplement at walmart... he just had another analysis and his sperm came better than normal.

I would go with IVF. My Dr likes to see >40% motility for iui, so that's where my thought process comes from.  Maybe his motility will get higher after washing... good luck!

My RE explained that the normal shaped sperm swim the fastest so even with low morphology IUI can be successful.
