PCOS?!

I'm kinda new and I see people saying that they have PCOS. ..
Can someone explain to me what that is? & are you diagnosed with it by a doctor or do you just know you have it???

PCOS is poly cystic ovarian syndrome. It is something that needs to be diagnosed by a doctor. It is when your hormones go crazy and your ovaries stop producing eggs each month and result in cysts instead :-( it is painful to have. It is hard to cope with emotionally but there are a lot of amazing treatments out there for it

Poly cystic ovarian syndrome. It is a hormonal imbalance derived from insulin/blood sugar levels. It can cause many symptoms. Mine isn't painful. It can throw your cycles out of wack. It can be very emotionally challenging because it is often difficult to become pregnant. It also increases your risk for diabetes, so getting it under control is important regardless of fertility.
