When to start testing LH?

I’m currently on my 5th day of my cycle (it stopped yesterday). This month I got it 2 days earlier (day 26th) than usual so now I don’t know when to start testing. Please, any advice would be much appreciated. It’s our 2nd month TTC and I have never done LH tests before.

I started the day after AF ended. Which was CD 6 for me. Got a blazing positive on CD 9. I have a short cycle as well.
