Equate digital test

I took a equate digital test and it only has one strip. I know your not suppose to take it apart but it said not pregnant and I have been getting faint lines on other test. So I took it apart and I see the control line but I also see a thick light blue line but I dont have to squint to see it at all. Has anyone had this happen to them and been pregnant?
