When did you start feeding your baby solids?

According to my midwife (and personal research done on this topic) you shouldn’t give a baby anything but breast milk or formula until at least 6 months. Until then, their tummies are too sensitive and can’t properly digest solids. It’s more likely to cause them intestinal distress.
I know some pediatricians say 4-6 months, but all of the more extensive research is saying to wait until 6 months. Their tummies are just not ready for that change until then.

About 5 1/2 - 6 months. My pedi cleared it at 4 months but I wanted to wait since we did BLW. Best decision ever made with BLW
